Dungeons and Dragons

November 14, 2017 By Michele 4 Comments

There’s a lot going on behind the scenes over here at ITT40, and I was even debating whether to post this week at all, but I decided it was important to keep ya’ll in the loop.

For one, I’ve been busy getting my “nutritious lifestyle” back on track.  It gets less challenging each time, but, unfortunately, there is such a thing as coconut sugar withdrawal <sigh>.

As I work on repairing my digestive system (again), I’m also having some other strange symptoms unrelated to digestion and need to go for some diagnostic tests tomorrow.

Even though my rational brain is sure it’s nothing, that little dragon known as worry—the one who resides in the “dungeonous” irrational part of my brain and whose sole purpose is to drive me mad—always seems to rear its ugly head.  Always.  Dang dragon.  If only all dragons could be sent off to live in Honalee.

Of course, there are lots and lots of other things going on, too, that are more interesting and exciting than diets and diagnostic tests.  But, for those things, you’ll just have to wait and see.

Anyway, if ya’ll could send me some positive vibes tomorrow, I’d be so grateful.

And, if you don’t hear from me on Thursday, try not to let your dragon out.  I’ll be back again next week to talk about tofu turkey and our scrummy vegan Thanksgiving dinner 😉

xoxo

The harder the struggle, the more glorious the triumph. Self-realization demands very great struggle
